Accessibility statement
ThaiGov.co is built to the Thai Government Website Standard and WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
The standard we follow
ThaiGov.co follows the Digital Government Development Agency’s Government Website Standard, which builds on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are not a government body, but a site about public services should be no less accessible than one.
What you can do here
- Switch between three text sizes from the accessibility button in the header; your choice is remembered on your device.
- Choose light, dark, or a high-contrast mode with black backgrounds, white text and yellow borders.
- Operate every part of the site with the keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus ring on every control.
- Jump straight to the main content with the skip link that appears on your first Tab press.
- The site honours your operating system’s reduced-motion setting and disables animation automatically.
Known limitations
Content written by ThaiGov.co is checked against the guidance above, but once you follow a link to an agency’s site, its accessibility is out of our hands. If you meet a barrier on an agency site, reporting it to that agency directly is the most effective route.
Report an accessibility problem
If any part of ThaiGov.co is hard or impossible to use, tell us by email or open a GitHub issue, noting the page and the device or assistive technology you use. We treat these as defects to fix, not feature requests.
